    Default Update on 725

Its been a while. Life's been a little nuts since July, but finally back to working on it.. and its alive..

    Build Pics:

Specs for those with a bad memory :

2005 5.7 Hemi, 545 RFE and NV242 Gen II (yep, AWD case, but will be 2wd for now).
1995 Dodge 2500 front end, complete with 5 link and coils.
1984 14 bolt with disc brakes

    Other fun parts:
Leather heated power seats from a ZJ
    Power windows

Its finally running and moving. Just need to get the brake lights wired in and a new throttle position sensor so it can do a little more than just idle.

Crikey! It's clear you have put a TON of work into that! So it's 2WD for now because the front pumpkin's now on the wrong side, eh?!

Must feel good to be so close now! Congrats!

Na, its a DS drop drivetrain. Just need to get a front DS made up and decide on gearing. Wanted to drive it around with the 4.10s in the rear to see how they were before setting the front R&P up (think its got a 3.somethingorother R&P in there now).

FWIW, late model F350 brake booster fits pretty well and appears to be making the disc/disc brakes work really well.

I saw you still had the stock front axle (PS diff) and the DS drop off the t'case. So you're putting new axles under it. Gotcha....

Ahh, pictures on the site not necessarily in chronological order

Black wheels + XLs = new axles
Greenish Wheels and NDTs = stock axles.

Neat build! I like the fuel injected motor and the all new drivetrain.

I can appreciate all that hard work. I've been on mine for the whole summer until now, and I am about 85% there. Hopefully in another month or so it'll move under its own power!

    Keep up the great work....

Its running, its home. Made the 40 some mile 1:15 hour trip with barely a hitch. Not bad for its 3rd time out of the garage.

    More details to come..
