Engine was black from the factory, most likely a gloss black as was the valve cover and ignitor cover. I have an NOS ignitor and it's cover is black...

Frame color was black. Even my truck has flaking paint and the base color was black and that is how I remember the trucks from 1969-70.

Frame and axles, springs, etc. were black, only the outside ends of the frame front and back were oversprayed OD green.

Engine from the factory was black as was the valve cover. Frame was black. Not sure of the color of the under fenders. I painted them black in Germany but I don't remember so I can't state that as fact. Much discussion has ensued here on the forum as to the color of the various items. It is generally believed that an Olive Drab engine was most likely a depot rebuild.

The air cleaner was black but possibly the mushroom was OD. When I sanded my mushroom down to paint it, the color underneath was OD.
