Oh I agree with you on the better performance of the tires you have. I was just saying that NDT would make it sing so to speak. Maybe you should get a set of rims and tires for display. Like some of the car show guys do.....just a thought.

Joe, I have the steel pot with an authentic mitchell pattern cover and M56 web gear and second pattern jungle fatigues, boonie cap, a couple ruck sacks and also a set special forces tiger stripe fatigues. I can deck it all out when I take it to displays.

    Dave, nice work!

Hey, would you take a pic of these accessory items? I could use some help in learning what all I need to start collecting.

Also, could you post a detail shot of the rifle mount on the dash, particularly the base?

    Thanks!

I still want one of those nice tach gauge plates.

I hope Bob's reading and will find a way to present some in the near future.

Sorry about the delay, but I was at the MVPA in Dayton and just got back last night to home.

Tim I'll take some shots for you so you can see what all I've got. The dash mount was modded from a deuce mount kit. A little creative bending and some new holes put it right where I wanted it. I tried to follow the pics in the TM as close as possible to make it look right.

Wow! Tons of gear! I sure hope I didn't put you to the trouble of laying all that out on your deck for the pictures. Hopefully that was a file photo! It's very helpful though. Thanks!

And thanks for the rifle mount. I bought a double set for one behind the driver's seat and am debating putting the second one on the dash, or on the dash of my CJ!
