    Default Troop seats restore

just bought $200 worth of white oak.
have all the boards cut to 3inch wide and rounded edges. and stained.
curious what the stock length of the boards should be.... so the cargo cover will fit properly...
i believe when i took them apart some months ago i measured 92 1/4 inch long. . . not sure if thats correct.

... also i think i may make 3 top curved pieces of wood.
    all 3 are probably identicle.
does anyone have the correct length of those pieces?
and perhaps the height of the arch if both ends where on the ground...

will be posting some pics soon as i find the usb cord to my camera. haha

Stock troop seat boards are 3/4 x 3 x 87 counter sunk with carrage head bolts. Yes all 3 top bows are the same. The easy way is the get them from Vintage Power wagon $10 bucks each. This topic has been talked about before just a couple of months ago I'm sure someone else will fill in the other spec's on the bows. if not Pm me and I will get the rest of the measurements this thursday.

    My seats match Crash's.
I have some pics showing some finger joints on one of the seats.
You know how it goes lowest bidder, lowest quality.
I also am posting some pics of the seats in case there is some type of difference between our seats.
What color did you stain your oak.
Be nice to see them when you are done

Interestingly only Mil. trucks built by Kaiser corp. countersunk the carrage bolts in the wood.
