Thread: power-loc limited slip differentials?

    Default power-loc limited slip differentials?

I was reading up on the 715 on google and I found this site that claims that the 715 and 725 came off the assembly line with power-loc limited slip dif's front and rear. I'm pretty sure this is wrong because ive never heard of it before.

Hmm, more than one error in that page.

-None of the 715/725's came with Power-Locs.
-Axles don't have 5.38's, they have 5.875 gear ratio (some places list it as 5.87, I'd call it a 5.88)
-I'm not sure I'd go as far to describe the axles as "bullet proof". Guess some people have a little lower criteria for such a term.
-First gear is not 6.32, its 6.398
    -NP200 is 1.98:1 low range
-Horse power and torque ratings are wrong, they are too high (at least for our single barrel, 7.5:1 compression version of the 230)

    Umm, I think thats it.
