    Thanks to Terrapin fab.. he found a way to make the stock filter setup work..

    I thought it came out good.

    I noticed more throttle response and the truck runs much more efficient on the fwy. I ran 55mph at same throttle point i was doing 50-53mph as before on the fwy...

    So, for all the people that thing the long intake tube will suck your horsepower down... imho it didnt hinder the truck at all.. and when its sucking cold air in on the fwy... it runs better.

    Ignore the crappy welds. I didn't spend much time cleaning the chrome or zinc from the two pieces.

    Im having a intake tube fabbed up next... to replace the goofy hose.. i'll post up pics in a few days when it's done.

    What kinda tube? You need something flexy between the constantly vibrating engine and the solidly mounted intake stack. Hose is A-OK.
