First it was the rims. Then the cut down doors. Now the windshield frame, hood and cowl are USMC Green.

You can see the strip of white on the cowl gasket under the windshield. I tried to strip off the white and the rubber just falls apart. Does anybody besides VPW have new ones?

I didn't get a picture, but the heads, alternator, both a/c compressors and valve covers are green too.

Thanks for the info gentlemen. I remember a discussion about these a few years ago and then it was determined that VPW had the only ones.

Tim, if you can't find one from AB or Memphis, let me know. I might be able to help.

    Too late. I bought it.

$54.94 to my door from Memphis Auto Parts. Didn't realize they were getting rare. Should have guessed though, huh? I just noticed mine was almost as hard as the windshield frame and figured I'd better replace it!

Come to think of it, this was a Multiple Item Listing, so there should still be a couple there!

Actually, Memphis Equipment took a cowl gasket to manufacturers until they found one that would make them to spec for a decent price...I think everyone else either has NOS ones from the 60's or early 70's, or is buying them from Memphis as they had to have something like 500 or 1000 of them made to get the price to where they wanted...Max May, owner of Memphis Equipment told me that himself.
