Thread: M715 transfer case

  1. #1

    Default M715 transfer case

Does anybody know if there is a direct bolt-in replacement for the stock transfer case? I understand the stock T-case isnt the strongest one ever built, and plan on a mild V-8 and bigger tires in my M715. For some reason, I like the idea of the divorced T-case and want to keep it in that configuation.

No direct bolt in replacement. The stock transfercase is plenty strong, it just isn't up to running at highway speeds for very long without having a meltdown.

If you are going V8 then a married transfer case, transmission unit that matches the engine you choose will be a lot less hassle in the long run.
Remember if you didn't build it you can't call it yours.
