    Default battery relocation

Just one battery Lee? Or are you going to try and stack two there? I don't have a digital camera. I am going to take a bunch of pictures to scan this weekend. I know you want it right now, but I should have mine up at the end of next week if it will help. About the batteries, one of the 4x4 type magazines did a story with pictures about a company that makes a battery stack system for under the hood last year sometime. Sorry I can't be more specific about it.

OK, I made my battery mount out of angle iron. I made the bottom frame the size of the battery of course. I then made a piece of 1"x1/8" flat that would bolt in using the existing holes for the radiator mount. The top two that is. For my 9"x7" battery, the bolts that hold the inner fender to the grill were located just about right. I made the other support to fit that bolt. I leveled it and welded it up. The only problem I have is a top post battery comes very close to the hood. I use a side post just to be sure. I know that a picture is much better, but that is all that I can do tonight. I'm going to bed, good night.

Lee: take a look at any FSJ. If I'd have known, I'd have saved you my mount. I just trashed it the other day.

If you don't have a heater, then you could mount the second battery on the passenger side firewall.
