Has anyone put a chrysler 360 into a M715? Is this an easy swap? Also is there any special steps in taking?

Just the usual ones: new motor mounts and either an adapter to the stock tranny or the easy way, a new tranny crossmember for the new engine's matching transmission.

Why a Chryco 360? Why not an AMC 360? Parts matchup is A LOT easier. OEM motor mounts (from an FSJ), NO tranny adapter (use a TH400) and just a new crossmember (use a QT for the correct offset). That is, if you want a slushbox and don't have a PTO winch. AMC 360's are given away around here, and offer plenty of grunt.

Ok guys, how about a Jeep 360 to a T98? I talked to Advance adapters and he said should work, but need new input shaft for T98. $200 for an input shaft has me thinking I should just find a T-18 in a junkyard.

Anyone done this exact swap or know of any tips on it? Wifey is really on me about money, so trying to keep it inexpensive as possible. Thanks!
