can anyone tell me if you can tap back in an expansion plug in the head itself? its located on the head up underneath back drivers side above the started

okay so now theres a leak in the expansion plug up under the head i've located. (rear drivers side) can this be tapped back in?

You can try to tap in a stock one but seems it should be changed after all these years if it moved/is leaking...
Another one I dont remember coming up like this before...though I know people have changed them when doing a rebuild...

I am not happy reading that Dorman plugs are not good. However... I have only gotten Doreman plugs for my winch. No water, no pressure and I intend to use Cornhead grease, not GO-90.
