I just bought a 68. I also just purchased a 90 dodge 3500 complete in really decent shape acctually. However, I purchased it for the drive train. Iím going to do the 6bt and I am going to use the rears and all from it. Iím not set on a transmission though. But thanks for the write up. Itís def putting the project into perspective for me. Big job! Looks great though.

Another day....

Cleaned out the 160,000 miles of sludge... worst oil pan I've ever dropped... thankfully no pieces and the magnet did not pick up anything when running it through the mud. Painted up and a re-gasket. Cylinder walls looked good from the bottom.

Shocks mounted up without any interference on the fuel tank or soft brake line routing.

Front Dana 60 Kingpin off of the winter rebuild bench complete and back under teh truck... onto brake and fuel lines.... Driveshaft en-route from Tatton's, intake plumping tack'd in... and in the midst of mounting the American Autowire fuse-panel and will start running leads....

Got a few more things done this weekend.

Finalized all brake and fuel lines prior to cab being put back on.
Prepped T-case cable shifter and E-brake linkages prior to cab put back on.
Cab Tub back on
Steering Re-installed
Front Dana 60 U bolts trimmed/torqued
Dash Finalized (pull knob switches decided with)
Verified exhaust routing (will be welding now)
Mounted up T-case and E-brake levers... now to permanentize and find boots
